So this has had to be one of the busiest weeks I’ve had in a while and I got to say it’s kinda nice to just sit and work on some images and do some house work. This week I had several shoots and a big event. One of my best friends did her maternity shoot, or at least a part of it on Wednesday with plans to do more today. Then on Friday was admitted into labor and delivery and about 15 minutes after she had her water broken and one push later out popped her new baby girl. A whole 5 lbs and 17″ long at 9:56pm. She decided that she had to be born before her big sis’s 1st birthday this coming Wednesday and her party, which was yesterday. Then last night I was the photographer for the Khaki Ball for all the new chiefs in the Navy. It was a blast to watch them let loose and celebrate their hard work.

Oh what a blast. I brought my portable studio to her apartment and we just played and got some gorgeous images. Her husband couldn’t be there as he had a game (he’s a coach), but I still think we managed to capture the beauty of her pregnancy. One of my faves I shined a light with a snoot onto the ring hand so it was a little brighter. Took a few tries till I got what I wanted lol. Gotta love digital

So I seem to keep forgetting to update this blog, sorry y’all. So about a week and a half ago I photographed a new freelance model who wanted to do a belly dancing shoot. As I love dancing, especially belly dancing I jumped at the chance. She chose the time and place, but unfortunately many of my idea went out the window with the quickly vanishing sun. I still got many great shots, but not to self for next time tell the model to come 1/2 an hour earlier than she originally wants to. SO here are a few images.
